Agrauxine by Lesaffre

As Lesaffre’s crop biosolutions division, Agrauxine develops, manufactures and markets microorganism-based products for plant health and nutrition. Its work draws on yeasts, fungi, bacteria and their derivatives to create biocontrol, biostimulation and bionutrition products for agricultural production. Biocontrol products address crop diseases and pest population balance, while biostimulants are designed to support plant growth, fruiting and resistance to abiotic stress. Its bionutrition products stimulate soil biochemical processes to improve nutrient assimilation and fertilizer efficiency. The company serves applications across vines, fruit crops, market gardening and major field crops, including cereals, potatoes, legumes, cotton and oilseed crops.

Research spans microorganism selection, identification and characterization, as well as molecular biology, biochemistry, agronomy and plant physiology. The company evaluates candidate organisms in laboratory, controlled and field conditions, including efficacy against diseases and pests, storage performance and compatibility with agrochemicals. Product development is supported by Lesaffre’s long-established yeast and fermentation expertise, together with technical partners and research centers. Agrauxine also conducts custom solid-substrate fermentation projects for filamentous microorganisms, covering feasibility work, process development and production of fermented substrate, extracted spores or formulated finished products. Its facilities include controlled incubation environments, cleanroom equipment and quality control processes. With more than 80 employees across Europe, North America and Latin America, its products are distributed in more than 50 countries through an international network of distributors.
