About This Company
The Company was established in 1974 with Baht 140 million registered capital and has been granted promotional privileges by the Board of Investment of Thailand (BOI). A factory was built in Amphur Thanyaburi, Pathumthani. The factory construction was completed and production started in early 1980 with one furnace and production capacity of 135 tons per day.
The Company has gradually expanded its operation and its registered capital is now Baht 900 million. Boonrawd Brewery Co., Ltd. is its major shareholder. There are 2 factories currently operating, one is located in Amphur Thanyaburi, Pathumthani and another in Amphur Klaeng, Rayong. Bangkok Glass Industry is the first manufacturer to start producing glass blocks in Thailand in 1993 and marketed this product under the name "BG Glass Block". There are flint (colourless) and coloured blocks in various patterns which are ideal for both construction and decoration purposes.
