Borri S.p.A. develops power solutions centred on single-phase and three-phase uninterruptible power supply systems for industrial and critical applications. Environmental engineering forms a defined part of Borri’s product and operating approach. The company has held ISO 14001 certification since 2011, while its entire UPS range complies with IEC/EN 62040-4 for declaring the environmental aspects of uninterruptible power systems. Major critical power products, including the Ingenio Max series from 200 to 600 kW, have undergone independent Product Environmental Profile verification covering life-cycle impacts. Borri applies regenerative active loads in critical power testing, saving approximately 95 percent of the energy otherwise consumed with resistor-based loads, and recorded energy savings of 7 percent in 2022 through equipment and lighting improvements.
