Maxwell Health is a NZ owned business. Jo Maxwell founded Maxwell Health in September 1999 when working as an independent practice nurse. Her husband approached her about providing the flu vaccinations to staff at his workplace against the flu. Ever the entrepreneur, Jo saw the business opportunity and was one of the first in Auckland to become an authorised vaccinator (certified to vaccinate in workplaces without a doctor).

Maxwell Health now vaccinates thousands of people in their workplace every year throughout New Zealand.
