Divergent Technologies, Inc.

Founded in 2014 by Kevin Czinger, with the goal of completely revolutionizing the way automobiles are manufactured. Despite decades of advances in computing capabilities as applied to vehicle design, Kevin recognized that vehicle manufacturing remained dominated by analog technologies largely unchanged from the original Budd steel process used to stamp railcars in the 1930s.
The Divergent Adaptive Production System (DAPS™) was a direct response to this gap, an end-to-end software-defined production system to manufacture any conceived structure, unconstrained by manufacturing technique. DAPS transforms the economics and environmental impact of manufacturing complex structures for vehicles of all types by optimizing designs, dematerializing structures, and eliminating upfront capex.
