COSMOPROJECT S.p.A. develops and manufactures customized skincare, makeup, haircare, toiletries, and private-label cosmetic products for luxury, international, and pharmaceutical brands. Its portfolio includes creams, lotions, foundations, concealers, primers, essences, serums, shower gels, scrubs, shampoos, balms, hair waxes, skin care waxes, alcoholic fragrance solutions, powdered and solid products, and lip gloss. Production technologies include semi-solid masks, twist textures, micro-emulsions, and powders. Products can be filled in PE, aluminum, and COEX tubes, airless bottles, bottles, pen dispensers, jars, spray bottles, flowpacks, vials, and other packaging formats.

Founded in 1993 by Primo Tortini, the company began as a contract manufacturer of complementary perfume formulas, including shower gels, creams, and body butters. It supports client projects through research and development, formulation, project management, filling, and packaging. Its formulators select raw materials according to technological content and health, environmental, and ethical considerations. The Casale di Mezzani plant covers 38,000 square metres and employs 270 people. Operations include 28 bulk-production lines and 70 filling and packaging lines, with capacity for more than 19,000 pallets of storage. Quality management combines quality control, quality assurance, regulatory activities, and corporate social responsibility management.
