Evyap Soap Oil Glycerin Industry and Trade Inc.

Personal wash, personal care and hygiene products form the core business of Evyap Soap Oil Glycerin Industry and Trade Inc., including liquid soap, bar soap, hand sanitizer gel and shower gel. Its Activex brand was introduced in 2009 in response to growing attention to personal hygiene and is built around an antibacterial formula tested as 99.9 percent effective against bacteria. The company manufactures Activex products for markets across multiple regions, positioning hygiene products as a central part of its consumer goods activity.

Research and development has been integral to the business since 1989. The company’s R&D Center received official designation in 2014 under Law No. 5746, becoming the first such designated center in the cosmetics sector. Located at its Tuzla facility, the 2,242 square metre center includes 700 square metres of dedicated category laboratories for physical and chemical measurement, raw material testing and product performance evaluation. More than 30 research scientists work within the function, which has generated original products, 230 industrial design registrations and 50 patents.
