Founded in 1950 from a small football stitching workshop, Football Thai Factory Sporting Goods Co., Ltd. has developed into an integrated manufacturer and distributor of sporting goods under the FBT brand. Its business spans sportswear, sports equipment, and ball production, combining manufacturing with product distribution. The company traces its origins to Kamol Chokpaiboonkit, who designed and produced Thailand’s first hand-stitched football, establishing ball making as a defining capability within the enterprise.

Ball production remains the company’s largest manufacturing activity, with a stated capacity of 12,000 balls per day. Skilled workers and quality inspection form part of this operation alongside production technology, while product development addresses the differing requirements of professional athletes, recreational participants, young children, and school-age users. Seventy percent of ball output is exported to customers worldwide. FBT balls have received official recognition from international sports federations including FIFA, FIVB, FIBA, and IHF.
