Formax manufactures equipment for digital print finishing, mailing, pressure seal processing, and data destruction. Its digital print and finishing portfolio includes ColorMax digital color printers, color management software, Cut-True cutters, folders, card cutters, creasers, perforators, laminators, booklet finishers, and joggers. Mailing equipment includes inserters, Mint Mailing Systems, digital printers and addressing equipment, mailing software, tabbers, envelope openers and sealers, conveyors, stackers, cut-sheet cutters, bursters, and continuous-form bursters. The data destruction line covers deskside, office, industrial, high-security, multimedia, hard drive, plastic, laminate, and casino shredders, along with hard drive punch equipment and cardboard perforators.

A privately held, family-owned business, Formax has manufactured products in the United States since 1987. Its manufacturing facility is in Dover, New Hampshire, and its product development team supports its expanding equipment line. The AutoSeal pressure sealer line originated with the company's first patented machine in 1996 and is offered in low-volume, mid-volume, high-volume tabletop, and production configurations. Pressure seal mailers are used for checks, financial documents, and marketing communications. The company sells and supports its products through a nationwide network of independent dealers, with sales, service, parts, and shipping teams providing pre-sale and post-sale support. Its government contracts encompass the full product line for federal, state, and local procurement.
