KOLBUS manufactures machinery for corrugated board, greyboard and graphic-industry production. Its portfolio includes flexographic rotary die-cutters, BX Motion Pro boxmaker machines, Boxline tapers, wrappers, punchers, formers, magnet inserters and assemblers, plus board cutting systems, casemakers and inside lining machines. The range also covers embossing presses, milling and grooving tables, grooving machines and cloth cutters. The RD series supports flexographic printing and die-cutting for corrugated applications, with configurations including top and bottom flexo units. Casemaker equipment supports hardcover production and automated processing of cardboard and paper into rigid boxes.

Alongside machine building, the business operates a foundry, machining shop and component assembly activities in Rahden. Its foundry produces cast products with lamellar graphite and spheroidal graphite, with annual capacity stated at 3,500 tonnes, and supplies prototypes, individual pieces and small production runs. Services include procurement management, material purchasing, outsourced turning and surface treatments, hardening, grinding and assembly. A production tracking system coordinates component progress, while a casting database documents process instructions and improvement suggestions. The company also provides 24-hour remote service and worldwide contact support for its machinery customers.
