Oberalp S.p.A.

Oberalp S.p.A. is a family-owned mountain sports group offering mountain clothing, footwear, technical hardware and accessories. Its six proprietary mountaineering brands are Salewa, Dynafit, Pomoca, Wild Country, Evolv and LaMunt. Each brand is focused on a specific mountain theme and experience area, with products designed and manufactured for mountain use. The group also distributes selected international sports brands, including Under Armour, Fischer, Barts, Falke, Burlington, 2117 of Sweden, One Way, Bolle, Spy+, Diadem and Blackroll.

Founded in 1981, the group developed from the Oberrauch family textile business, which began importing textile products to the Italian market in 1846. It operates with 1,200 employees, three production plants, 12 offices across Europe and the United States, and 116 retail stores worldwide. Its products and brands reach 65 countries through a network of 3,500 dealers. In addition to its proprietary portfolio, the group provides communication, sales and image-building expertise to exclusive sports partner brands. It also operates Salewa Cube climbing facilities and is expanding this climbing-hall concept in Italy through franchise partnerships.
