Optima is an owner-managed, medium-sized family business. We develop, produce and distribute innovative medical devices in the fields of ophthalmology, otorhinolaryngology and pneumology. Our original field of activity was to develop products for ophthalmology (eye care) and it expanded over the years to include new sectors. Ophthalmology remained one of our core competencies, in particular the clinical picture of so-called "dry eye", for the treatment of which we developed a liposomal eye spray, unique worldwide for effect and application. After 35 years of growing experience and development, our portfolio includes products from numerous areas.
