About This Company
Pagani Pens SA develops and manufactures personalized writing instruments and components for the promotional market. Its Prodir and Pigra brands focus on ballpoint pens designed to carry corporate identities, with pad printing and screen printing used to reproduce logos and complex colour work. The company produces its own refills and writing systems, combining injection-moulded plastic parts with controlled printing and assembly to create durable instruments intended for repeated everyday use. Selected models use renewable plant-based materials, while the DS3 Biotic range incorporates PLA and wood powder composites, with biodegradable bioplastic conforming to EN 13432:2002.
The business combines writing instrument production with Premec’s expertise in components for writing systems. Premec was founded by Giorgio Pagani in 1961, and Prodir emerged during the 1980s to serve promotional applications. Following their 2017 merger, the group has operated through Writing Instruments and Components divisions. Administration, sales management and printing are based in Lamone, mould development and manufacture take place in Novazzano, and Cadempino produces tips, inks and refills. Three production facilities employ more than 300 experienced staff, while seven sales offices distribute Prodir instruments internationally, with Europe as the principal market.
