VANK LLC

VANK LLC develops furniture and acoustic systems for workplaces, home offices and public spaces. Its portfolio brings together desks and tables, office seating, acoustic pods, screens and wall panels, with an emphasis on adaptable layouts for focused work, meetings and collaboration. The VANK_CUBE system is built around modular cube elements that can be assembled and reconfigured as organisational needs change. Made from a biomaterial based on flax and hemp fibres, the system reduces reliance on synthetic materials. Cube units can be combined with oak-veneered plywood tops, shelving elements, storage components and upholstered poufs to create functional work and informal meeting settings.

Acoustic design is another central area of the company’s work. Its enclosed and open pods accommodate individual and group work, with selected models incorporating lighting, ventilation, connection panels and touch controls. VANK_BOX achieved sound insulation of Rw 45 dB in testing under ISO 10140-2:2011, while its acoustic pods recorded speech level reduction of 30.7 dB under ISO 23351-1, qualifying them for Class A. The company also uses rPET, BIO panels and upholstered finishes across desk screens, mobile screens and wall compositions. Its BIO panel received the Green Product Award 2022 and an Editor’s Choice special mention in the Interior and Lifestyle category, while VANK_CUBE received a special mention at the German Innovation Award 2023.
