Altris AB develops and commercialises sodium-ion battery cells and Prussian White cathode active material for industrial energy and mobility applications. Founded at Uppsala University, the company builds its technology around iron and sodium chemistry, without cobalt, nickel, copper, lithium, or conflict minerals. Its P-Series cells target high-rate power delivery in pouch, prismatic, and cylindrical formats, while the E-Series is designed for endurance applications requiring long cycle life and broad operating temperatures. The product portfolio also includes Prussian White cathode material, an iron-sodium compound manufactured from European raw materials.

The company serves manufacturers, integrators, and industrial partners in automotive low-voltage systems, stationary storage, data centre ride-through power, and defence or critical infrastructure. Its Uppsala pilot plant produces industrial reference cells using production-equivalent parameters intended for transfer to partner manufacturing lines. Prussian White material is produced at an industrial-scale facility in Kolin, Czechia, and is available through direct supply, technology licensing, and joint development arrangements. Water-based electrode processing, aluminium-only electrodes, and zero-volt storage capability are central features of the platform. The cells operate from minus 40 to plus 65 degrees Celsius and are classified as Non-Dangerous Goods, Class 9 Exempt, supporting storage and logistics requirements for industrial deployment.
