Billerud manufactures renewable paper, pulp and packaging materials based on fiber from responsibly managed forests. Its portfolio includes cartonboard, containerboard, sack paper, kraft paper for bags, flexible, medical and specialty applications, formable paper, and liquid packaging board. The company also supplies coated sheets, web papers, coated digital papers, inkjet papers and label papers, along with hardwood pulp and northern bleached softwood kraft pulp. These materials are recyclable and are designed for packaging and graphic-paper applications.

The company operates nine production units in Sweden, Finland and the United States, and serves customers in more than 100 countries. Its customers convert the materials into milk cartons, fruit boxes, beauty packaging, carrier bags, cement sacks, labels and magazines. The product range supports food and beverage packaging, consumer and luxury goods, industrial bags and heavy-duty packaging, as well as medical, hospital, hygiene, personal-care and pharmaceutical applications. With more than 150 years in forestry and paper, Billerud works with brands and converters on packaging materials intended to reduce material use and support recycling.
