Ilirija d.o.o. develops, manufactures and markets cosmetics, with hair care and hair colourants at the centre of its production. Its portfolio extends to facial and body cosmetics, household products, leather care, cleaning products and candles, alongside distribution activities for established cosmetic brands. The company manages product development from initial concept and laboratory samples through testing, manufacture and bottling. Its technical teams develop formulations, semi-finished products and packaging, while in-house microbiology testing verifies cosmetic safety. Hair care products are additionally evaluated on human hair by trained hairdressers at the Subrina Professional Studio.

Established in 1908 as Golob & Ko., the business began with shoe and leather cleaning products before expanding into soaps, washing powders, candles and cosmetics. Hair cosmetics became its principal production field after the Second World War, and the Subrina line introduced a hair conditioner in 1958. The group employs 220 people and operates a production plant in Lendava, renovated in 2009 for cosmetics manufacturing, with a finished goods warehouse opened in 2022. Its quality management system conforms to ISO 9001:2015, while cosmetics manufacturing follows ISO 22716:2007 Good Manufacturing Practice guidelines.
