KONČAR – Electrical Industry Inc. develops and manufactures power engineering equipment, rail vehicles, and digital systems for energy and transport infrastructure. Its portfolio includes generators, transformers, transformer substations, hydropower plants, trams, and trains, alongside software for monitoring and controlling generation, transmission, and distribution assets. The group engineers customer-specific microgrids that combine generation, storage, control, and communications, with modular architectures designed for expansion and reconfiguration as operational requirements change. Its microgrid energy management system was the first globally certified to leading internationally accepted cybersecurity standards. PROZA HAT and PROZA MARS software platforms extend its capabilities into SCADA, metering, data analysis, and management of critical and urban infrastructure.

Built on more than a century of industrial development, the group comprises the parent company, 16 subsidiaries, and a joint venture with Siemens Energy. Its equipment, products, and engineering services are installed in 140 markets, reflecting a manufacturing model that combines internally produced core components with selected standardized elements integrated into complete systems. In the past year, the group delivered products and services worth €1.3196 billion, with 68 percent directed to foreign markets. Current investment priorities include modernizing manufacturing capacity, improving energy efficiency, developing new technologies, and strengthening the resilience of power infrastructure.
