Kotra Pharma (M) Sdn Bhd develops and manufactures pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products for healthcare and consumer wellbeing. Its portfolio includes the Axcel line of oral and topical preparations for paediatric care, dermatology, anti-infective treatment and gastroenterology; Vaxcel sterile injectable medicines for anti-infective, gastroenterology, anticoagulant, anaesthesia and antiemetic applications; and Arite metered-dose inhaler devices. The company also markets Appeton health supplements and consumer products such as AxPain and the Creobic cream range. It reports 208 products registered with the National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency.

Manufacturing is centred on the Kotra Pharma Technology Centre, a RM210 million manufacturing and research facility that became fully operational in 2013. Designed around Quality by Design principles, the centre uses automated manufacturing technology, centralised real-time monitoring, and building and clean-room management systems across production and utility operations. Kotra Pharma manufactures in accordance with PIC/S Good Manufacturing Practice requirements and holds ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certification, MS 2424:2012 Halal Pharmaceuticals certification, and ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation. With market presence in more than 30 countries, the company combines Malaysian pharmaceutical production with research, technical talent development, and international market activity.
