Matelas Personnel

Founded in 1980, Matelas Personnel manufactures mattresses in Quebec around the principle that sleep surfaces should be adapted to the sleeper rather than the reverse. Its production spans foam, spring, hybrid, and Talalay latex constructions, with models designed around balanced, firmer, or more enveloping comfort and support. The portfolio includes everyday spring mattresses, luxury innerspring designs, and latex mattresses that combine elasticity with support. Across eligible models, the manufacturer configures three firmness levels, creating defined choices in feel and support within each construction category.

Local manufacturing supports a made in Quebec operating model centred on mattress construction and customization. Beyond standard dimensions, the company fabricates custom mattresses from supplied measurements, including nonrectangular forms for recreational vehicles, boats, Murphy beds, and built in bed frames. Measurements are reviewed before production, and eligible designs can incorporate a different firmness configuration on each side while retaining a continuous sleep surface. From Saint Leonard, the business combines mattress manufacturing with direct customer service, delivery, installation, and removal of replaced mattresses, serving requirements from conventional bedroom formats to confined and irregular spaces.
