Multiplex Group of Companies is an agricultural input manufacturer and supplier focused on crop nutrition, plant protection, and soil health. Its portfolio covers fertilizers containing major, secondary, minor, and micronutrients, alongside plant growth regulators, bioactivators, adjuvants, water pH balancers, organic fertilizers, biofertilizers, biopesticides, pheromones, and crop protection products. The company develops products for crop production and nutrition, with formulations intended to improve nutrient absorption, plant health, crop productivity, and the quality of agricultural produce. Its fertilizer portfolio addresses a broad set of crop applications, including cereals, vegetables, fruits, plantation crops, spices, and floriculture.

Research and development has been part of the group’s operations since 2000, when Multiplex Bio Tech Private Limited was established in Bengaluru. A research and development unit inaugurated in Peenya, Bengaluru, in 2023 brings together microbiology, entomology, biochemistry, instrumentation, formulation, chemical synthesis, analytical, and quality control laboratories. The unit pursues biointensive agriculture, reduced chemical use, climate tolerance, and lower post-harvest losses, while field trials in varied agroclimatic conditions are used to validate product efficacy. Through Karnataka Agro Chemicals, the group also works to meet nutrient grades and specifications prescribed by local authorities for agricultural inputs.
