Andermatt Group AG develops and supplies biological and natural products for crop production, home and garden care, pest control, bee health, and farm animal health. Founded in Switzerland in 1988 by Dr Martin Andermatt and Dr Isabel Andermatt, the business began with production and registration of MADEX, a baculovirus product for food production. It subsequently added entomopathogenic nematodes, bee health products for varroa mites, the two-spotted ladybird Adalia bipunctata, and slug collars. The independent family and employee owned group comprises multiple companies across four continents and supports growers in more than 60 countries through subsidiaries, partners, distribution companies, and specialty manufacturing companies. Its history records ISO 9001 certification in 2004, along with the manufacture of microorganisms through solid-state and liquid state fermentation within group companies.
