About This Company

ANEL designs and manufactures beekeeping equipment, tools and machinery for apiary work and honeybee-product processing. Its offering covers equipment for the apiary, the beekeeping laboratory, bee care, beekeeper use and packing facilities, alongside plastic insulated beehive components, frames, feeders, pollen collectors and related accessories. The portfolio also includes honey extraction and handling equipment, stainless steel settling tanks, uncapping benches, electric smokers and vaporisers, batteries, and supplies used in routine hive management. It develops honey processing and packaging facilities with fully or partly automated configurations.

Founded in Athens in 1968 by engineer and beekeeper Emmanuel Pantelakis, the business combines product design, production and project development for beekeeping farms and honey packing operations. It has completed more than 100 honey processing and packing-line installations and installed or developed more than 300 beekeeping farms. Design work incorporates communication with professional beekeepers and government institutions, while internal apiaries are used for product research, testing and beekeeper training. The company provides after-sales service and project follow-up, works with agricultural universities and beekeeping research institutes, and collaborates with distributors across all continents. It has been a member of Apimondia and has received two recognitions from the federation.
