Nutrien Ltd operates across fertilizer production, distribution and agricultural retail, supplying crop inputs and services from resource extraction through to farm application. Its upstream portfolio encompasses potash, nitrogen and phosphate products for agricultural, feed and industrial uses, while its distribution network moves millions of tonnes annually. The company is the largest global upstream fertilizer producer and the world’s largest potash producer, with six Saskatchewan mines and more than 20 million tonnes of potash capacity. Its nitrogen operations produce ammonia and upgraded products including urea and solutions, while phosphate facilities manufacture solid and liquid fertilizers, feed products and industrial acids.

The company’s retail business serves growers in North America, Australia and South America through approximately 1,800 locations in seven countries. More than 4,200 crop consultants work with growers on crop planning, seed selection, soil sampling, fertilizer application and crop monitoring, alongside financing, crop nutrients, crop protection products, seed and farm merchandise. Nutrien combines this field presence with production assets that include 11 nitrogen facilities in Canada and the United States, a facility in Trinidad, two integrated phosphate facilities and four phosphate upgrade sites in the United States. Its transportation network includes railcars and marine terminal access for potash distribution to around 40 countries.
