About This Company
The Garcia family business behind My Father Cigars S.A. produces handmade premium cigars across a portfolio of 24 brands. Its blends include My Father Le Bijou 1922 and Flor de Las Antillas, while the company also manufactures third-party brands such as Tatuaje. Tobacco processing encompasses destemming, fermentation, and sorting by size and color before cigars are assembled, rolled, banded, and packed. Production combines the family’s blending heritage with formal quality control and distribution capabilities, serving a market that values complex blends and consistently hand-rolled construction.
Founded on the work of third-generation master blender Jose “Pepin” Garcia, the business developed from the El Rey de los Habanos factory, opened with Jaime and Janny Garcia in 2003. Jaime created the original My Father blend in 2008, followed by the expansion of the family operation to Estelí in 2009. Manufacturing is centered in the Garcia Family Industrial Park, with additional operations in El Paraíso and Miami. The Miami headquarters houses a boutique factory staffed by twelve cigar rollers trained by Don Pepin, alongside warehousing and distribution. In 2022, the company produced about 20 million cigars, supported by a rolling room employing 350 pairs of rollers.
