Perodua Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. manufactures and assembles motor vehicles as part of the Perodua Group, Malaysia’s compact vehicle maker. Established within a business founded in 1993, the company contributes to an all-round automotive operation that covers vehicle manufacturing, research and development, sales, after-sales activities, body and paint repair, and pre-owned vehicles. The Perodua vehicle line includes the Axia, Bezza, Myvi, Ativa, Alza, Aruz and Traz, reflecting a focus on practical mobility products for Malaysian motorists. The wider business is advancing into the electric vehicle era and has produced and sold more than one million energy-efficient vehicles.

Operations are based at Perodua headquarters in Sungai Choh, Rawang, a 522-acre complex that includes two vehicle manufacturing facilities, a research and development facility with a test track, distribution stockyard, parts centre and training centre. Perodua Manufacturing and Perodua Global Manufacturing together have the capacity to produce up to 320,000 vehicles annually. The group works across a Malaysian ecosystem of suppliers, dealers and business partners, supported by technical training and technology transfer through its partnership with Daihatsu Motor Company of Japan. Perodua Manufacturing holds ISO 14001:2015 environmental certification, covering environmental protection, pollution prevention and continual improvement. The group also maintains a nationwide sales and service network with more than 200 outlets and exports selected models, including the Traz and Alza, to Sri Lanka.
