About This Company
We provide a warm, safe, and comfortable environment to our residents so they can maximize their level of physical, spiritual, and emotional independence. For over 130 years, the Vilas Home has honored one purpose: to provide a beautiful home and premier care to residents of the North Country.
Our 42-bed adult home was built in 1888 and today the building is listed in the National Register of Historic Places under the provisions of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966. Our three-story building has its original high-ceiling rooms, large windows, recessed porches, and is considered a prime example of Queen Anne Architecture (we’re proud of our history!).
