The fact that American consumers are fed up with junk from overseas is indisputable. Today’s customers want quality goods made right here in the USA.

Much of what they’re looking for comes out of the Plain Communities of Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Indiana, although it’s not exclusive to those areas. There are fine craftspeople all over the country making heirloom quality goods and providing services that can only be found right here on American soil.

Up until now, the problem has been connecting wholesalers and retailers who understand the new consumer desire for homegrown excellence with the manufacturers of those superior products.

Enter TradeSpan. TradeSpan is, quite simply, a bridge between producers and wholesalers and retailers that hasn’t existed before—at least not in this practical form.

TradeSpan is both a publication and a website, each doing the same job of fostering dialogue within industry communities, and offering the logistical means of getting great products into stores and ultimately into the hands and homes of consumers.
