Bonnier Group

Bonnier Group is a family-owned corporate group focused on media, real estate and investments. Its media businesses deliver journalism, stories, knowledge and entertainment through companies including Bonnier News, Bonnier Books, SF Studios and Adlibris. The group also includes Bonnier Fastigheter and Bonnier Capital. Bonnier News operates news businesses and has expanded through acquisitions of Swedish-language newspapers in Finland. Bonnier Books includes publishing operations and the BookBeat audio and e-book service. SF Studios operates in film, while Adlibris is active in book retail.

The group acts as an owner company for a decentralized portfolio of businesses, with more than 600 brands, 8,000 employees and operations in 15 countries. Its origins date to Gerhard Bonnier's bookshop in Copenhagen in 1804, and the company has operated under the Bonnier name since 1837. Its media operations work across changing media markets, with digital revenue, subscriptions, audio services and e-commerce forming part of the business mix. Bonnier Capital makes investments in companies, while Bonnier Fastigheter develops and manages real estate holdings. The group also supports the Stora Journalistpriset, an annual journalism prize established by Albert Bonnier Jr. in 1966.
