DEMO Pharmaceuticals operates as an international industrial and commercial pharmaceutical organization, developing, producing and marketing medicines and related healthcare products. Its portfolio serves major hospitals and private market channels with prescription medicines, hospital care solutions, oncology treatments, medical devices, nutritional supplements, and plastic and glass containers. Injectable drug manufacturing is central to its operations, supported by a 66,000 square metre facility in Kryoneri, Attica, described by the company as the largest in Southeast Europe and among the largest worldwide.

Research and development laboratories in Athens and Thessaloniki cover more than 4,000 square metres and underpin the expansion of the company’s pharmaceutical portfolio. Its Quality Assurance function oversees manufacturing from raw material receipt through final product release, with self-inspections, equipment calibration verification, process validation, production environment monitoring, and supplier oversight. The pharmaceutical quality system integrates EU cGMP requirements with GDP, ISO 9001:2008, ISO 13485:2003, ISO 14001:2015, and DY8/1348/04 standards. Eighty percent of annual production is exported across five continents, with products present in 96 countries and branded DEMO products available in 86 markets.
