EWT develops direct drive wind turbines and energy services for distributed generation, serving farms, commercial and industrial facilities, individual buildings and remote communities. Its turbine portfolio reaches rated capacities of up to 1 MW and is designed for operation on-grid or off-grid. Direct drive architecture reduces the number of moving parts and eliminates hydraulic fluids, with the aim of lowering maintenance requirements and improving availability. The DIRECTWIND 61 combines a 61-metre rotor, pitch control and variable-speed operation for low-wind Class IIIA locations, while aerodynamic rotor design contributes to energy capture and noise reduction.

Since 2006, the company has supplied more than 700 turbines worldwide, with an installed base of more than 600 units across Europe, the Americas and Asia. It introduced its 1 MW platform in 2017, established a turbine blade factory to maintain production continuity, and expanded into multi-brand service and maintenance. EWT delivers long-term operations and maintenance, 24-hour service support and performance enhancement for wind assets. Its quality management system follows ISO 9001:2015, while DIRECTWIND turbines are type-certified to IEC 61400. The company also operates in repowering, including a 22-turbine project across mainland Greece and its islands.
