LEITWIND develops and manufactures modular wind turbines for distributed generation, wind farm development and industrial energy projects. Its turbine architecture assigns distinct functions to compact components, facilitating manufacturing inspection and final assembly while simplifying transport and installation at sites with difficult access. The company combines turbine engineering with project management, technical guidance, commissioning and lifecycle maintenance. Its DirectDrive generator technology serves applications ranging from renewable energy communities and self-consumption systems to ski resorts, where wind generation can supply lifts, snowmaking equipment, hospitality operations and catering facilities.

As part of the HTI Group, LEITWIND operates an international supply structure and manufactures key turbine components in dedicated facilities. Converter production is based in Vipiteno, while Lacedonia produces generators, hubs, frames and transformer stations and serves as a maintenance centre for southern Italy, with material storage, component regeneration and assembly capabilities. Continuous monitoring, preventive maintenance and specialist field support underpin its operation and maintenance activities. The company also pursues certification and grid compliance across target markets, including work under the CEI-016 framework and certifications for its turbine platforms in Germany and Poland.
