Gerresheimer AG develops and produces primary packaging and drug delivery systems for pharmaceutical, biotech, health, well-being, diagnostics, medical device and cosmetics markets. Its portfolio includes glass and plastic packaging, closures and accessories, infusion, dropper and syrup bottles, tablet containers, vials, syringes, pens, auto-injectors, inhalers, ampoules, cartridges and on-body devices. It also offers digital therapy-support solutions and packaging for perfume, cosmetic and personal-care applications. These products contain, protect and administer medications, including liquid drug products, and support their delivery to patients.

The group operates 39 local plants across Europe, the Americas and Asia and employs about 13,000 people on three continents. It supports pharmaceutical customers from material selection, design and chemical or surface analysis through prototypes, test samples, laboratory testing, stability-study support, regulatory documentation, submissions, production and filling processes. Laboratory capabilities include liquid analysis, particle counting, functional testing, air-leakage measurement, tensile and compression tests, microscopy, accelerated aging and climate cycling.
