Betafarma S.p.A. is an OEM/ODM manufacturer of cosmetics, oral care products and substance-based medical devices. Its private-label portfolio includes toothpastes, mouthwashes and denture pastes, together with face and body creams, serums, lotions, gels, oils and butters. The product offering also covers dermocosmetics and hygiene, depilatory products, and mom and baby lines. The company designs, formulates, produces and packages products for third parties, including CE-marked substance-based medical devices and surgical medical products.

Established in 1971 as a research and development laboratory for cosmetics and parapharmaceutical products, the company began contract manufacturing, filling and packaging in 1973. Its in-house R&D laboratory develops formulas, prototypes and samples, while its technical team supports ingredient selection, packaging selection, stability testing, product claims, registration and Product Information Files. Production includes raw-material controls, reverse-osmosis water treatment, bulk mixing, filling and automated packaging for bottles, jars, tubes, lipsticks and microbottles. Quality control works with regulatory affairs and external analysis laboratories and university institutes. Certifications listed include UNI EN ISO 9001:2015, UNI EN ISO 22716:2007, UNI EN ISO 13485:2016 and ICEA Eco Bio Cosmetics.
