About This Company
Juvent develops mechanical stimulation platforms for musculoskeletal health, centered on its Micro-Impact Platform®. The system delivers a controlled, low magnitude mechanical signal through the feet at 32 to 37 Hz, with 0.05 mm of vertical travel and output fixed at 0.3 to 0.4g. A movement sensor calibrates the signal to the individual standing on the platform by reading body composition and hydration. Registered with the FDA as a Class I device for exercise and rehabilitation, the platform is used in home, fitness, and clinical environments.
The company engineers four platform configurations around the same calibrated signal, including personal, higher duty cycle, and seated clinical models. Its 1000N platform uses an aircraft grade aluminum top and gold flashed circuit boards, while the product line is engineered and assembled in Tennessee and supported there for service. Juvent cites more than 60 peer reviewed papers, over 20 patents, and $45 million in research and development behind its technology. Its scientific heritage draws on bone growth stimulation research led by medical device pioneer Jack Ryaby, while President Peter Simonson contributes mechanical engineering and spinal fixation experience from Medtronic.
