About This Company

Managem Group has operated in Morocco’s mining sector since 1930, developing an integrated model that extends from exploration and ore extraction to processing and raw material marketing. The group extracts, processes and supplies precious metals, cobalt, fluorite, copper, zinc, lead and related derivatives. Its metallurgical capabilities include hydrometallurgy, which separates metals from ores and concentrates to produce pure metals and metal derivatives. These materials serve industrial applications in aerospace, automotive manufacturing, electronics, ceramics, agriculture, energy systems and photovoltaic equipment. Gold production was expanded in 2025 with the start of operations at the Boto mine in Senegal.

Engineering, research and project management are conducted through the Reminex subsidiary, while Techsub performs drilling, underground mining, open cast mining and specialised works across several African markets. Techsub operates five Raise Boring machines and uses Rotary Vertical Drilling System technology for accurately oriented vertical shafts. For more than 30 years, the group’s research teams have worked across extraction, ore processing, hydrometallurgy, environmental management and mineralogical analysis. Research activities include recovering value from mining waste, recycling electrical and electronic waste into copper ingots, producing trace elements for agriculture, and developing materials for rechargeable battery cathodes. The company is a subsidiary of Al Mada, a pan African private equity investment fund.
