Picfare Industries Ltd manufactures printed paper products, stationery and commercial print materials for education, office and institutional use. Its core output includes exercise books, notebooks, counter books, graph books, drawing books, ruled and plain paper, envelopes and A4 copy paper. The company also produces customised and branded stationery, with book printing options that encompass varied paper stocks, formats, cover treatments, trimming and binding. Its counter books serve schools, colleges and commercial organisations, while its paper and stationery lines address routine writing, record keeping, copying and administrative requirements.

Established in 1981 in Kampala, the business expanded into exercise book production in 1992 as local demand for domestically manufactured paper goods grew. It later moved operations to Njeru, Jinja, following the acquisition of Nytil, to increase capacity and consolidate operations. Beyond stationery production, Picfare undertakes folding carton printing for manufacturers using web-fed flexographic printing, linking printed packaging with its broader paper conversion capability. With 45 years of service, the company has developed a longstanding role in East Africa’s printed paper products sector.
