Sisu Farms is a family owned and operated livestock farm nestled in Colorado's Rocky Mountain Valley, founded in 2018 by Asa and Aila Holley on land where Asa grew up. The farm raises 100% grass-fed and grass-finished Highland cattle, natural pork, pasture-raised chickens and turkeys, and free-range eggs, relying entirely on humane, chemical-free, hormone-free, and antibiotic-free methods. Highland cattle graze on fresh grass year-round, with calves staying with their mothers for at least four months, while pigs enjoy natural forage and abundant sunshine.
Beyond raising animals, Sisu Farms runs a Community Supported Agriculture program that connects local families with seasonal shares of fresh meat and eggs, as well as an online store with curated bundles and home delivery to the Winter Park, Fraser, and greater Denver areas. The farm's regenerative rotational grazing practices prioritize soil health and pasture restoration, embodying the founders' belief that farming can heal the land just as wholesome food heals the body.
