About This Company
Our small family farm is located in the heart of Central Alberta in the community of Morning Meadows. Having a small amount of acreage available we run a small flock of happy, healthy sheep. We are selectively breeding our stock with superior health, conformation and mothering instincts. We offer live lambs for sale on farm for either breeding stock or for the freezer. We offer on farm slaughter and can arrange butchering at a price per pound rate. Please contact us for current availability and pricing.
Our hens are treated with the best care we can provide, spending all the warm months on pasture following the sheep and the winter months Free Run in the winter coop with an oversized run and fresh hay! Our hens enjoy the grass and bugs on a new plot every couple days, chasing grasshoppers and cleaning up the sheep droppings preventing parasite concerns on the pasture in their Frankenstein version of the ChickShaw. Year round we provide the best feed we can find, currently produced by Takoda Coen of Coen Farms. A mix of organic grains and hay giving our ladies the best of the best!
