Thorn Cycles Ltd manufactures bespoke touring bicycles, tandems, triplets and frames for touring and tandem cycling. Its range includes Rohloff hub gear-equipped cycles and derailleur-geared touring models. Current models include the Nomad Mk3 and Nomad Mk2 expedition touring bicycles, the Raven Twin S&S touring tandem, and the Mercury 40 steel touring bicycle. The Nomad models are designed for long-distance, self-supported travel across varied terrain, while the Mercury 40 is intended for fast day rides, audax events and lightweight cycle camping. The Raven Twin S&S combines Rohloff hub gearing with frame couplings for transport.

The business is a sister company to St John Street Cycles and operates from premises in Bridgwater. It has supplied serious touring cyclists with cycling equipment for forty years, using customer feedback and cycling experience in the development of its own cycle range. Bikes are assembled in its Bridgwater workshop by mechanics who are cyclists, and each bicycle is built to individual customer requirements rather than supplied as an off-the-peg model. Frame geometry varies by frame size, while clearances, braking systems and braze-ons are selected for the intended application. The company also provides factory servicing from its Somerset workshop, alongside technical support, sizing information, an owner's manual and guidance on Rohloff hubs.
