At its Mielec plant, AUTOPART SA manufactures batteries for motor vehicles, tractors, agricultural machinery, boats and campers, with an annual capacity of approximately 2.5 million units. Its portfolio spans standard, deep-cycle and start-stop batteries, including EFB and AGM technologies. An internal research and development center designs batteries in collaboration with research centers and suppliers of components and raw materials from Europe, the United States and Korea. The company also develops private-label battery programs, working with customers on product names, label design, regulatory markings and automated labeling across approved ranges.

Production combines automation, robotics, data systems and continuous improvement methods through the company’s APM Manager approach, which integrates Lean Management with APS, MES, MRP and real-time quality control. Measurement systems and testers verify key battery parameters throughout production, supporting repeatability and traceability. The management system meets ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and AQAP defense-sector quality standards, while ISO 45001:2018 certification covers occupational health and safety management. Environmental operations include a 1 MWp photovoltaic installation, closed-loop use of process water through an on-site treatment plant, and containment, ventilation and HEPA filtration systems monitored through SCADA.
