Condensia Química S.A

Since 1975, Condensia Química S.A. has manufactured and marketed special esters for niche industrial applications from Barcelona. Its work centers on custom ester and polyester chemistry developed for customer requirements. The company supplies monomeric and polymeric plasticizers, complex esters, polyester polyols, polyadipates, polysebacates and polyphthalates. These materials serve PVC, lubricants, polyurethane, rubber, coatings, adhesives, sealants and elastomers, as well as personal care and PLA applications. Its Glyplast range includes polyurethane plasticizers and bioadditives for bioplastics, while specialist products address functions such as antistatic performance, flow modification, resistance and appearance in finished materials.

Research and development has been part of the business from its early years, with investment directed toward new products for industrial customers. The company combines this development activity with manufacturing operations and a commercial model focused on direct, responsive collaboration. It exports 70% of its output outside Spain, serving competitive international markets. Environmental responsibility, quality, safety and hygiene form part of its operating commitments, alongside compliance with Spanish and European legislation. Condensia also participates in the Horizon Europe GRECO project, which is developing biobased, biodegradable and recyclable food packaging using PLA copolymers. Commercial collaborations extend its presence in lubricants, PVC, rubber, CASE and polyurethane markets in the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy and Greece.
