Egyptian International Pharmaceutical Industries Co. manufactures human pharmaceutical products across more than 25 therapeutic classes. Established in Tenth of Ramadan City in 1980, the company produces antibiotics, lyophilized medicines, Spansule capsules, ophthalmic products, sterile preparations, oral solid dosage forms, soft gelatin capsules, liquids, creams, ointments, gels and suppositories. Its manufacturing operations include dedicated sterile areas for cephalosporin and penicillin antibiotics, sterile ampoules and vials, and sterile eye drops. The company also produces hormones and corticosteroids, tablets, effervescent granules, syrups and suspensions. EIPICO 3 extends its manufacturing activity into biological and biosimilar medicines, including monoclonal antibodies and recombinant protein products.

The company operates multiple manufacturing facilities designed around cGMP and WHO requirements, with Factory 1 also renewed in accordance with International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering regulations. Manufacturing is supported by warehousing, engineering, quality control, packaging and affiliated supply operations. Egyptian International Ampoules Company, in which EIPICO is the main investor, produces medical ampoules, vials, aluminum tubes and printed aluminum foils, while the plastic factory supplies dropper bottles for ophthalmic products. EIPICO reports more than 400 pharmaceutical products, 117 pipeline products and 5,000 employees. Its products reach markets in Europe, Africa, Asia, Latin America and CIS countries, and the company holds EU GMP certification alongside registrations and certifications from SFDA, MHRA and GCC authorities.
