Halti Oy develops outdoor clothing, footwear and gear for hiking, trekking, skiing, training and other activities undertaken in demanding weather. Its product development is rooted in the changing conditions of Finland’s four seasons, with collections for outdoor use, snow sports, active sport and everyday wear. The outdoor assortment covers technical garments for hiking and trekking, including Pallas, Hiker and shell clothing. Footwear is designed for hiking, trekking and outdoor travel, with fit, comfort, terrain and varying weather treated as central product considerations. Weather-X combines waterproof, windproof and breathable jackets, trousers, shoes and accessories with reflective detailing.

Founded in 1976 by Juhani “Jussi” Hyökyvaara, the company was established around equipment proven in real outdoor and sporting conditions. Product refinement draws on feedback and experience from professionals and enthusiasts, with testing focused on practical use rather than laboratory conditions alone. Its skiwear and cross country collections have been developed and tested with athletes and partners, while Halti serves as the official clothing supplier to the Finnish National Alpine and Mogul Ski Teams. The Kallio® collection applies the company’s technical apparel knowledge to garments intended for urban conditions, combining weather protection with durable everyday use.
