For pet care and travel, Moderna Products designs, produces and distributes plastic products that combine practical use with design. Its principal lines cover litter boxes, feeding bowls, pet beds and travel carriers for dogs, cats and small pets. The company develops products around the needs of pets and their owners, with attention to safety, durability and ease of cleaning. Food-approved and dishwasher-safe finished products are made from non-toxic, strong and recyclable materials, including recycled and environmentally sustainable sources. Product development has included the Smarty Bowl, an early two-component polymer product, and a decorated cat litter box.

The family-owned business traces its origins to a button factory founded in 1932 and has focused on plastic pet products since 1980. Now in its third generation, it operates from headquarters in Izegem, where offices, production halls and a 40-meter-high bay warehouse form its main base. The facility has a production hall with 33 machines and capacity for 59. A second production facility began operations in Gaffney, South Carolina, in 2015. Environmental policy guides resource reduction, reuse and recycling, while the company also maintains ethical commitments covering fair conduct, human rights, workplace safety and equal opportunity.
