Founded in 2002 as a marketing consulting business for health functional foods, COSMAX NBT has developed into an ODM and OBM manufacturer serving brands from product planning through finished goods production. Its work combines ingredient research, formulation and packaging technology, brand design, sales channel development, and marketing support. The company develops health functional foods, general foods, and foods carrying functional claims for immune, digestive, vitamin and mineral, protein, energy, circulatory, liver, eye, inner beauty, and age-specific nutrition categories. Its formulation capabilities cover tablets, soft capsules, hard capsules, jellies, gummies, powders, and liquids.

Manufacturing technology includes dedicated probiotic production lines that maintain controlled temperature and humidity conditions, with daily operating records and research into strain changes under production conditions. Microemulsion technology reduces particle size through homogenization to improve the bioavailability of fat-soluble and poorly soluble ingredients and enable liquid formats such as gummies and jellies. An R&D center and automated factory were established in 2007, alongside NSF GMP certification. Quality operations use 33 analytical instruments, including HPLC and ICP-MS/OES systems, and maintain test methods aligned with overseas food and pharmaceutical standards. The company also operates in China, the United States, and Australia, while advancing factory energy management, automated controls, and solar self-consumption.
