Polynt S.p.A. combines the production, sale, research and development of organic anhydrides and their derivatives with a broad portfolio of resins and formulated materials for coatings and composites. Its coating chemistries include alkyds, latex resins, specialty oils, polyesters, powder coating resins and curatives, acrylics, epoxies, urethanes, and polyester epoxy systems that avoid isocyanate related hazards. These materials serve architectural, industrial maintenance, traffic, wood, floor and protective coating formulations, addressing adhesion, gloss, durability, corrosion resistance and weather resistance.

Within composites, the group supplies unsaturated polyester and vinyl ester resins, gelcoats, bonding pastes, compounds, cleaning agents, and additives for dimensional stability. Its materials are used in marine, wind energy, automotive, construction and industrial applications, including chemical tanks, structural assemblies and corrosion resistant structures. Active for more than 70 years, the business operates an integrated model encompassing in house raw material consumption, research and development, planning and sourcing, production, quality control, business to business sales and technical assistance. Production plants and commercial offices span Europe, Asia and the Americas, supported by research and technical service laboratories.
