SICOMIN

SICOMIN formulates and manufactures advanced epoxy systems and composite materials. Its epoxy portfolio covers infusion and RTM, hand laminating, foaming, fire-resistant applications, hot press moulding, wood applications, translucent systems, prepreg, pultrusion, casting, gel coats, adhesives and special products. The company also supplies woven, stitched multiaxial and unidirectional reinforcements, structural cores in PET, PVC, PEI and balsa, vacuum-bagging equipment, release agents and related composite consumables. Its systems can be supplied in liquid form for spraying, pouring, foaming or flameproofing.

Founded in 1946, the company established its composites department in 1983 and opened a plant and laboratory in Châteauneuf-les-Martigues in 1985. It develops custom epoxy formulations and standard products for aerospace, defence, marine, renewable energy, sports and civil-engineering applications across Europe, the United States and Asia. Materials support infusion, RTM, pultrusion, hand lay-up and on-site prepreg processes. Sicomin operates a research laboratory and production facilities, supported by a global distribution network. It holds ISO 9001 certification, while historic marine epoxy formulations are certified by DNV-GL. Its sustainability management system has also received an EcoVadis Bronze Medal.
