PT APP Purinusa Ekapersada, known as APP Indonesia, manages a group of pulp and paper manufacturing companies and forestry operations. The group produces pulp, fine printing and writing paper, tissue paper, consumer packaging, industrial packaging, carton boxes, carton sheets, paper tubes, and paper cones. Its operating companies include Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper, Pabrik Kertas Tjiwi Kimia, Pindo Deli Pulp and Paper, Lontar Papyrus Pulp & Paper Industry, Ekamas Fortuna, OKI Pulp & Paper Mills, and other converting businesses. Combined annual production and converting capacity exceeds 19 million tons, and products are marketed in more than 150 countries across six continents.

The business has developed its pulp and paper mill network through acquisitions and expansion over almost 50 years. Its operations link forestry, nursery, production, research and development, converting, and supply-chain activities. The group applies Environmental, Social, and Governance principles through its Sustainability Roadmap Vision 2030, covering products, forests, and people. It reports that all fiber supply is third-party certified to one or more recognized sustainable forest management standards, while 56 percent of mill energy is generated from waste-based renewable fuels.
