Beaphar develops and manufactures veterinary pharmaceuticals, pet healthcare products, complete foods, snacks, nutritional supplements and grooming products for dogs, cats, rabbits, rodents and birds. Its anti-parasite portfolio covers flea, tick and other parasite control, including FIPROtec Spot-On treatments, medicated collars and VETOpure spray. The range also includes dental-care treats, calming products such as CaniComfort and CatComfort, joint care, wound spray, salmon oil, milk substitutes, eye and ear care, and coat-care products. Nutrition lines include Care+ extruded feed for rabbits, rodents and ferrets, plus XtraVital complete blends for parrots and parakeets.

Founded in 1942, the family business began with homeopathic products for dogs and cats before expanding into veterinary medicines and pet care. It established an R&D department and laboratory in 1979, developed flea collars in 1983, and registered its first flea spot-on treatments in 1993. Manufacturing takes place at four factories in Raalte, Hedel and Gainsborough in the United Kingdom. The company maintains sales offices in the Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Belgium, Hungary, Spain, Poland, Norway and the Czech Republic, and exports through a distributor network. Its wider portfolio also includes fish products through King British and horse products under the Primeval brand.
